Making games has been a passion of mine since before I can remember. Growing up with a PS1, PS2, N64 and Gameboy Advance, I've been constantly interested in the inner workings of how games are developed. The ability to create entire worlds from nothing but text and a handful of semi-colons. It blew my tiny mind.
